YVONNE MARIE SENESHEN

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Yvonne Marie Seneshen on Thursday, December 3, 2020.
Mom is survived by her four children, Wayne (Lorna), Bernice (Dave), Connie (Gil), and Gary (Lori); 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Cecile, Agnes, Theresa, Rita; and sister-in-law Annette, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Bertha and Edmond Welsh, as well as her sisters, Elizabeth, Helen; brothers, Frank, Leo, Albert, Edward; and two siblings in infancy. She was predeceased by her husbands, John Seneshen and Charlie Browning.
Mom was born the fourth child of 13 on July 1, 1928 on the family homestead near Burnt Lake, MB, where she grew up and attended Cook School. Later Mom worked at Fred Douglas Lodge for 17 years, loving her job and making friends. She loved going to garage sales and to the Goodwill to find those little trinkets (only to give them away if you said you liked them). Mom was happiest when surrounded by her family and having a good strong cup of tea or just sitting on her front porch watching everyone going by (neighbourhood watch). Mom enjoyed visits from family especially her sister Cecile always talking in french then english then back to french. The last few months were the hardest for Mom and the family. She is now free of pain and that is a blessing. She will be missed greatly.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a graveside service is planned for a later date and Mom's ashes will be interred and placed next to her family at Abbeville Cemetery in Deerhorn, MB.
