RAYMOND (RAY) PASTUZENKO
Due to COVID, we couldn't be together when he passed suddenly at Grace Hospital. We said our goodbyes at home.
Born in Carmen, MB. He married his lifelong love, Irene Proteau. Together they worked their farm, not always an easy road. They built a home, and raised their sons in St. Adolphe, Manitoba. Good times fondly remembered with family, friends, and always music. Ray was a wealth of local and family history. The best times were shop parties with good food and Ray and Irene playing fiddle and keyboard. Although moving to Winnipeg in 2005, their hearts remained on the farm.
Ray was predeceased by wife Irene, brothers, Johnny and Vic, sisters, Martha, Eva and Anne. He is missed by sons, Wes (Terry Cooke) and Ron, his sister Olga, and niece Sharon.
The family thanks the compassionate care from W.R.H.A., especially Care Co-ordinator, Christine, and hard-working staff.
Pops, hope you and Mom are with a
great fiddle band now and playing
"The Red River Jig" with the best.
