CARL GAJADHARSINGH

Carl passed away peacefully at his Tampa, FL home on November 24, 2020.
He is survived by his sons, Adam and Ian, and a brother, Dyanand. He was predeceased by his parents, loving wife Eleanor, and his sister and two brothers.
Carl was born and raised in Rio Claro, Trinidad. At just 18 years old he left Trinidad with $65 in his pocket to earn a degree at the University of Winnipeg. Winnipeg is also where he met Eleanor, who became his life partner, raising their family and supporting what became Carl's lifelong passion for business.
To pursue his entrepreneurial endeavours, Carl and his young family moved to Tampa, Florida, where he bought the Brass Mug Pub. It soon became an underground sensation, where up and coming bands like Green Day and No Doubt would play. Several more successful bars soon followed. Once the kids were established and on their own, Carl and Eleanor moved back to Winnipeg. After his wife's death, Carl retired back in Tampa.
Carl's hard work was only matched by his joy for life and spending time with friends and family like his in-laws, the Reichardts, Ramesh/Joyce, Ed, Giselle, Seeta, and so many others.
Carl liked to say, "I did it my way" but it was always with a positive attitude, infectious personality, and generous spirit. Carl, and his way, will be sorely missed.
