Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Dear Klassen family, I am so blessed to have had your mother and father come into my life at Concordia Village these past years. Your father would come to the front desk to chat to me every day. Sometimes offering a German prayer or blessing. It made me brush up on my German, that is for sure. And asking if he could borrow the newspaper "I'll bring it back!" he'd say. Then I'd say "have a good day!" And he'd reply "Have a double good day" And on it went topping each other until we were both laughing. Yes, Jake, I know you are most certainly " Fine and Dandy Sweet like Candy" now . And I am going to miss you very much! Terrol Rogers - Posted by: Terrol Rogers (Friend) on: Dec 13, 2020

  • Dear Linda , My sincerest condolences to you and your family. Your father was such a loving kind person with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. Everyday when I saw him and asked how he was, he would say ”Fine and dandy, sweet like candy”. I know that he is exactly that now that he has reunited with your dear Mother.
