MELVA MARGERIE HAYTER
(nee HOGLUND)
July 12, 1937 - December 7, 2020
She is survived by her loving partner of 35 years, Bob Ivy, her daughter Brenda, son Michael (Cathy), grandson Miles, sister Bernice (Walter), Audrey (John), and many friends and relatives.
Melva was born on a farm near Langenburg, Saskatchewan. She was kind and caring to all, ready to help at a moment's notice. She loved Christmas and birthdays and family gatherings. She enjoyed many years working at Parks Canada and Revenue Canada.
Because of COVID19 there will be a memorial at a later date.
We wish to thank all the palliative care staff.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter.

I am very sorry to hear of Melva's passing. I used to meet up for lunch sometime with her, Rosie and mom. I loved her stories & how much care she took with her appearance. She was always dressed to the nines & wearing makeup, no matter what.
