PRIMEN GARCIA
November 17, 1949 - December 11, 2020
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Felicitas; his children: James (Michelle) Garcia of Surrey, BC, Allison (Eric) Lopez of Calgary; and his grandchildren: Aaliyah Lopez, Liam Lopez, Aria Lopez, Merrick Garcia and Kendrick Garcia. Primen will also be missed by Marelyn De Rama and Bong De Rama of Winnipeg, Mariel Orcullo of Winnipeg, Andrea and Ruben and their kids, Jackie and RJ, Deo and Leanne and their kids, Joy, Janis, Jane, Matthew and Chris, Efren and Jeanette and their kids, Stephanie and Kyle, relative Nanang Viring, Rina and Joehl and family, ate Erlie, ate Precy and Kuya Nestor and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Gonzalo and Ramona Garcia, and his sister Cecilia Garcia.
Primen graduated from the Philippine Marine Institute and worked overseas as able seaman, as a second mate. He also worked for Motor Coach for 35 years. Primen was part of the Pathfinders Radio Club of Winnipeg and of Mabcom of Calgary and enjoyed playing tennis and golf. He attended the yearly Grand Eyeball. He was an avid volunteer for both the Manitoba Marathon and the Terry Fox Run in Winnipeg. Primen loved his time spent with family and playing with his adored grandkids.
The family would like to thank the staff, especially Shirley, at the Dialysis Unit of the Peter Lougheed Centre.
