REV. DEACON NICK KOHUCH
May 30, 1926 – December 17, 2015

This year has changed us in so many ways but not as profoundly as the day you left this world, not long before Christmas, five years ago. As we have been compelled to slow down and lock down, we have had time to reflect on how incredibly blessed we are to have had you as our Dad. We have years of rich
traditions to savour, many of which we have continued in our own ways. You and Mom
created those incredibly important traditions for us and with us. Your singing on Christmas Eve before the kutia was dished out, is something we will always hear. Your wise advice and listening heart were relied upon, more than you know. Your immense love for Mom and for all of us shaped us forever into
individuals who understand that great love can overcome incredible obstacles, great compassion can transform the hardest of hearts, and great faith can illuminate the darkest times. Thank you, Dad, for all of the life lessons and for your endless capacity to care for and about others. We miss you at Christmas and always.
