HUNTER SKARITKO
September 20, 2000 – December 20, 2019

Thank you to our friends and family who have supported us over the past year after the death of our son Hunter. Special thanks to Hunter's good friends, Matt and Zeke; your kindness will always be remembered. And thanks to the RCMP Gimli & Arborg
Detachments, RCMP URT, and the Good
Samaritan who called 911 that dreadful day.

Gratitude and blessings to Manuel and his crew from HEART Team for the successful recovery, and thanks for the empathy and support from Suzanne of the OCME, Dr.
Meredith, and Gilbart Funeral Home in
Selkirk. If you are able, support and
donations to HEART Team in memory of Hunter would be appreciated, as they
continue to assist families like ours across several provinces.

Since you left, we are no closer to
understanding why, no closer to healing our pain, no closer to moving forward. Your
memory is with us daily as we begin to see we will never be the same without you; and there is no changing that. Our only light is thinking of the joyous times we had together as we slowly put one foot in front of the other.

Rest in peace Hunter.

Your life was a blessing, and a treasure.
You are loved beyond words
And missed beyond measure. –

Judy, Wayne, Dana, Chad

  • Hunter it’s been a long and sad year without you. You are very missed and always remembered. A couple days ago I was trying to say “Sobeys” but “IGA” came out and Cheyenne and I said “igga” at the same time. We looked at each other and said “Hunter”. You would ask “What’s igga?” All we have are memories but they are great memories. Rest In Peace Hunter.
