IRENE MALANCHUK

It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of Irene Malanchuk. She passed away peacefully on November 28, 2020, at St. Boniface Hospital. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.
Irene will be deeply missed and is survived by her two children: daughter Gloria (Al) and son Allan Malanchuk, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Irene was predeceased by her parents, Evelyn and Joe Smith, husband Ernest William Malanchuk, sons, Vernon Malanchuk and Don Malanchuk, and sisters, Kay Moore and Gwen Brick.
Irene was born in Kindersley, SK and raised in Saskatoon, SK and her last five years of her life was in the Maples Personal Care Home.
The family would like to express many thanks to her granddaughter Juanita for her love, care and support while at Maples Personal Care Home and at St. Boniface Hospital. Thanks to staff on 2West at Maples Personal Care Home, as well as to St. Boniface Hospital 6E Medicine for their incredible care and compassion.
As per Irene's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A private viewing will be taking place at Chapel Lawn for family.
