Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I offer my condolences to Jacquie and family on the death of Jack. You will recall Jacquie that you and I worked together in the City Clerk's Department in, I believe, the old Civic Office Building. We did socialize a few times after you left the City's employment. Most was through Bill and Jean Lyons. Gord Busilla was a friend of Jack's for quite some time, and he used to mention him from time to time when the City Clerk's Retirees bunch got together for Wednesday luncheons. Also sorry to learn (through Jack's obituary) of the loss of your daughter Suzanne at a very young age, back in 2008. The kids aren't supposed to pass on before us parents. - Posted by: Douglas King (Friend) on: Jan 20, 2021

  • We are saddened to learn of Jack's passing. He and Jacqulyn were lake neighbours on our block for more years than we can remember. Whenever we would run into Jack on our walks he would always say hello and he always had time for neighbourly chit-chat. Our sincere condolences to Jacqulyn and the family in your time of loss and sorrow. Jack was one-of-a-kind, and he will be missed. - Posted by: Jae & Rhoda Eadie (lake neighbours) on: Dec 19, 2020

  • I was sad to read of the passing of Jack. . .a lover of life! It has been many years since we have seen Jack, yet his memory is very much alive. May your treasured memories, help to ease your great loss and find comfort knowing that his legacy of love lives on in his family, friends and the communities that he touched. Ken and I send our heartfelt condolences to Jacquie and all the family. - Posted by: Linda Bougton (Acquaintance) on: Dec 19, 2020
