I liked Don a lot. I had the privilege of spending some of Don's best days with him and some of his worst days. I cherished both. Don was one of the best story tellers I have ever met. I offer those words with all the ambiguity they should have. Don admitted directly, his habit of embellishing stories quite freely. Don, although not always perfect on his follow through, cared deeply about others, particularly Everest and constantly wanted to do the best for her. I just plain enjoyed the guy. He often recalled when on the last day of my job, I had to throw out a bunch, a lot, of paper files. I invited him to spend the whole day to keep me company while I did this. It sure made that day fly by easier and in the context, it was a great day for Don, as he mentioned it to me often. I will miss my buddy and think of him not only every November 11 but often. - Posted by: Glenn Morison (Friend) on: Dec 19, 2020

Shirley and Ben - My thoughts of comfort and care are with you both. Only time will help heal this very difficult period in your lives. As his Aunt, I will always remember Donny’s spontaneous smiles and laughter. Knowing that Don’s kidneys were donated to the Wish Foundation is something he would be very proud of. Take care and stay safe. Bonnie - Posted by: Bonnie Dayment (Aunt) on: Dec 19, 2020
