TERESITA CALDERON
Her final months were difficult due to increasing frailness of a stroke.
Teresita is survived by her children, Maria and Joseph, her grandson Noah and her nieces and nephews, Bernie, Letty, Marlon, Maureen and Maricar.
Her children can attest that she was always supportive and encouraging, always wise and kind and proud of them both.
She loved gardening, sewing, music, taking care of her family and a good laugh over visits with friends. She always sacrificed her needs for the good of her family.
Teresita will be remembered as a selfless, endearing woman who always had a smile, even when times were tough. She had a quiet strength even until the end.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for her care over the years, and their many kindnesses during this difficult time.
Cremation has taken place and unfortunately, due to the present Covid-19 restrictions, a memorial service cannot be held at this time.
Everyone who remembers her is asked to celebrate Teresita's life in their own way. A private family interment will be held at Glen Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to CancerCare Manitoba or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated (or to a charity of your choice).
