It is hard to believe that it has been 11 years since we have had the pleasure of seeing her beautiful smile. When we recall the courage that it sometimes took to face the day, we are amazed at the capacity she had to grace us with, the warmth of that smile and her genuine enjoyment of life. We are eternally grateful for those days we had together. She left us too soon, but the gift of having her in our lives for that time is priceless.

Although I attended Kendra's life celebration, I had never looked at her obit online. Just looked for the first time, and wanted to say how beautiful it is to see that you post every year. My Son, Ian graduated from SJR last year and Kendra's life had an amazing impact on us as a family. She was a remarkable person and your inclusiveness of letting all of us do some good through Kendra's Walk over his time at SJR has been transformative to our family and the SJR family.
