KEN GALLANT (J.F.K.)

The death occurred peacefully with his son John Paul at his side at the Beach Grove Home, Charlottetown, on Friday, December 18, 2020, of Ken Gallant, formerly of North Rustico, aged 86.
Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Anne Gallant (nee Sullivan); loving children, Donnie (Dawne) of Ottawa, Gary (Janis) of Calgary, Sherry (Dale Gallant) of Winnipeg, Jamie (Stephanie) of Toronto and John Paul of North Rustico; and grandchildren, Kyla MacGuigan (Wade) of Stratford, Mitchell, Jay, Jeryn, Jena, Talia, Nicholas, Isabella and Sophia.
He is also survived by his brothers, Allison (Philo) of Riverview NB, Derrill (Jane) of Peterborough, ON, and Gavin (Joan) of North Rustico; sisters, Audrey LeClair (Ed) of Ottawa, ON, Sister Phyllis Gallant, CND, of Charlottetown and Jacqueline Gallant of North Rustico; and brother-in-law, Joe Sullivan of Bellevue, ON.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, Edmund D. and Zita (Doiron) Gallant; brother Marc; and brother-in-law Basil Gallant.
Due to current health restrictions, a private funeral will be held at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery. The funeral will be live streamed on the Central Queen's Funeral Home Facebook page.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Lennon Recovery House or the P.E.I. Cancer Society would be appreciated.
