When we were children ( under 10 ) he walked up to my dad who was cutting the lawn & said “I should do that, I am going to be your son-in- law”. My dad died in his 80’s & never forgot the story. Worked with Allie at Greyhound we both started in 1972 and became friends immediately Alvie was always play practical jokes on people and did strange things with his teeth.
