LESLIE DAWN HUTSEBAUT
(nee ARCHIBALD)

As 2020 comes to an end our family says good-bye to Leslie Dawn Hutsebaut who passed on December 21 due to several health complications. She was 81 years old and would not be thrilled with us for sharing her age. Dawn was born and lived all her life in Winnipeg.
She is predeceased by her son Rick (2013) and her parents, Les and Kay Archibald.
Dawn is survived by her husband of 61 years, Walter; daughter Charlene (Jez), daughter-in-law Marni; grandchildren, Nelson and Megan; cousins, Betty and Barry; and lifelong friends, Bob and Cathy McInnes. Dawn also had a large extended family in all of Walter's brothers and sisters.
Dawn's life was about loving and taking care of her family. She loved going to watch her grandchildren play any sport they were playing and hated to miss out on anything they were doing. Nana was always there to watch and cheer them on. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Jets do not realize what a great fan they have lost as she loved hockey and football.
Dawn faced many health issues the last few years which she could not overcome at the end including kidney failure. Thank you to all health care professionals who cared for Dawn.
Because of the current world situation, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when we can all get together in person again to share memories about Dawn.
Please make a donation to Diabetes Canada, Kidney Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation, in lieu of flowers.
