AUDREY LYNN DECOCK
(née LOEWEN)
1960 - 2020
She will be deeply missed by her husband Terry DeJaegher, daughter Lyndsay (Gabe), son Evan (Kristina), parents, Glen and Myrna, sister Cheryl (Brian), brother Glen (Kelly), granddaughters, Anna and Natalie, grandsons, Henry and Lukas, nieces, Lauren and Karlene, nephews, Cody and Wyatt, father-in-law Ron, sister-in-law Tammy (Jim), and many more relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Bruce, and mother-in-law Delores.
Audrey was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and spent her early childhood there. Later on, her family built a beautiful home near Birds Hill Park, where they often enjoyed camping. In her adult years she went on to build a home of her own near Anola, MB to raise her own children with her former spouse Ken. During these years she took great joy in creating a wonderful home and raising her two children. After leaving country living briefly, Audrey and her current spouse Terry bought a rural home together near Hazelglen, MB. Terry and Audrey met while working at Pauwels in Winnipeg, and soon became steadfast partners. Adventure called following Audrey's retirement. Big moves to Thompson, MB, and then Mackenzie, BC, were up next for her and Terry. They settled into mountain living where Audrey felt quite at home. Audrey was a very kind and creative person. She was crafty and skilled at painting, sewing, knitting, weaving, singing, and playing piano. She would always make such creative gifts for others. She loved the great outdoors and enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, and cross-country skiing. Since Audrey's passing, many people have reached out to share their fond memories of her. She touched the lives of many people and is loved dearly. She left us too soon and is greatly missed.
She will always live on in our hearts and memories.
The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at the Mackenzie & District Hospital & Health Centre for their care.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a memorial service will be postponed at this time.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Audrey's name to any charity that is dear to your heart.
