GERALD OLAF JOHNSON
September 27, 1935 - November 5, 2020
Jerry was born in Winnipeg the youngest of six children to Freda and John Johnson. He graduated as a power engineer in 1955 for the Federal Government, then he worked for Christie Biscuits and then as a Chief Inspector for Continental Insurance to inspect boilers and machinery.
Dad had his own airplane in Carman, MB and Dad and Mom flew many times to Oshkosh for 30 years, enjoying air shows. The love of his life Willene, who passed in 2015 after 57 years of marriage, is now in his arms again in heaven. A special thanks to Pat Thickens for being his caregiver to Dad for many years.
Interment of ashes will take place next spring with immediate family only.
