CAMERON JOHN DESJARDINS
February 3, 1951 – December 23, 2020

It is with deep sadness the family announces, that after a brief battle with cancer, Cameron passed away peacefully on December 23 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Palliative Care.
Cam was predeceased by his mother and father, Jonina and Phil; sister Edna; brothers, Allan and Pat; nephews, Robbie and Kevin. He survived by his sisters, Arlene (and family of Neepawa), Wendy (Danny and family of Winnipeg); daughter Suzanne (grandchildren Emily and Christopher); son Louis (grandson Nathaniel) and their families all of BC; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Cam attended school in Tenby as well as Piney, Manitoba. He lived in Winnipeg until his passing.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of CancerCare Manitoba and the Palliative Care ward at St. Boniface Hospital who showed compassion and took special care of Cam. A special thanks to his friends Duane and Joy who looked after and took care of Cam prior to hospitalization.
Donations to CancerCare Manitoba or the Never Alone Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place. There will be no formal funeral service due to the current Covid restrictions and an Interment will take place at a later date at the Badger Cemetery in Badger, Manitoba.
