LINDA CAROL PARSONS
(nee SWAIN)

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Carol Parsons (nee Swain) - loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and dear friend on Monday, December 14, 2020.
Linda was born in Selkirk, Manitoba and was the second child of Audrey and Ernie Swain. From the very beginning, Linda had an inquisitive, fun loving, artistic nature to her. She was always looking at things from a different point of view and wore her heart on her sleeve.
She was and continued to be someone who always lent a helping hand, a warm embrace and words of encouragement - reminding everyone to ask her beloved angels for a guiding hand.
Her real passion in life lay in the art of Tai Chi, which she both enjoyed to practise and teach during various points of her life. A strong connection to nature, plants and gardening was also a huge part of her life.
In later years, she developed a real interest in all home reno DIY shows, always dreaming up projects she'd love to one day do. When she and her husband relocated to Winnipeg, MB in the summer of 2018; she got to make her dreams a reality with her glorious outdoor patio garden that became her pride and joy.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband, and best friend Dave (Willy) Parsons, of 35 wonderful years. Her son TJ (wife Shawna). Her sisters, Judy and Chris, as well as her brother Danny (wife Margaret). Along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and her dear and cherished friends Barb, Michael and Kristy.
Heaven gained their brightest, shiniest, sparkliest angel and we know that you'll be looking over all of us now, Linda.
With all of our love, rest easy, mama bear. You're out of pain and can breathe again.
Cremation has taken place. A spring service of remembrance to follow at a later date.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Hello Dave I remember Linda from the old days at Speers Road. I was the next door neighbor at the duplex. Lots of good times especially in the back yard. Of coarse the bar-B-que car was a bonus. I think it used to be Linda's. Always remember Linda's beautiful smile and personality. My condolences. Regards Dave Scanlon - Posted by: Dave C Scanlon (Friend) on: Jan 09, 2021
