DEBORAH MARIE ENNS

It is with heavy hearts we announce that Deborah, aged 65, passed away peacefully in her daughter's arms on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Debbie was born in Winnipeg, MB on April 7, 1955 to her mother Marie Humphrey (nee Lavallee) and shortly thereafter moved to Horndean, MB with her parents, Andrew and Elnora Enns all of whom loved her unconditionally.
Debbie is survived by her loving children, Nola Prokipchuk (Winnipeg), Ellery Friesen (Calgary, AB) and Shaun Dyck (Kamloops, BC), their father Edward Dyck (Kamloops), Wes Prokipchuk (son-in-law) and Lisa Fontaine (daughter-in-law); six grand-children, Jessika (Brett), Brendan (Kayla), Brettin, Carter, Cohen and Jaxson; her brothers, Jeff (Susan) Humphrey, Darrel (Verena) Enns; sisters, Pat (John) Gadzinski, Kym (Steve) Pritchard and Lauri (John) Fehr; Kathy Menzies - her best friend and confidante, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn Debbie, is her partner Glenn Nott, his caring brother Troy, and numerous close friendships whose hearts were lucky to have been touched by her from the prairies to the west coast.
Debbie enjoyed attending Sunday school, choir and church services surrounded by immediate and extended family and friends at the Mennonite Brethren Church. Summers were spent with her cousins helping on the farm, learning to cook, clean and bake, along with sewing and crafting. She loved singing and spent a lot of time doing so with close friends, cousins and relatives. Debbie always brought happiness to those around her with her sense of humour and her infectious laughter! She moved to Winnipeg in her early 20s where she found rewarding employment in the public service industry, collecting numerous awards during her years of service. She will always be remembered as a loving, caring, selfless woman. Her endless supply of strength fed her independent and adventurous spirit. She was a devoted mother who raised four remarkable kids with Edward Dyck. Throughout her retirement, she kept busy visiting her grandchildren, her favourite dogs, Cheech and Frankie, which she lovingly called "the boys."
We would like to thank all the health care professionals who went above and beyond in their duty bringing her life much comfort and joy.
The love that she gave was equal to the love she made.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
