YVETTE AGNES MORIN
April 11, 1941 - December 28, 2020
Yvette was a cherished mom who has enriched so many lives with her love, kindness and OPEN HEART for everyone.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her son Mike along with her mother Cecilia and father Cyprien Labossiere, mother-in-law Ella and father-in-law Charles Morin as well as her sister Bella, brothers, Donat, and Gerald and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Leo Nadeau, Charlotte and Willy Kowalke, Andrea and Cliff Swenson, Romeo Hebert, Tony Morin, and Marie and Bill McKenzie; who she will be happy to be reunited with.
Yvette will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years Leo Morin (her Popeye) and their children, Carole Robidoux (Gil), Jeannette Morin-Kitkoski (Dean), Rheal Morin (Gaston), Jacquie Burgoyne (Roger), and Suzie Morin (James), her favorite daughter-in-law Jackie Morin. Memere, (aka partner in crime) loved her grandchildren Bobby (M J), Kiki (Ryan), Dannie (Marc), Jayme (Amber), Meagan, Carter, Skyler and Carla (Jeff), great-grandchildren, Parker, Baylie, Joe, Lucy, Chloe, Baby Burgoyne, and Fletcher. She also leaves to mourn her sisters, Thérèse Nadeau, Norma Trudel (Maurice), and Gisele Durupt (Marcel), sisters and brothers-in-law, Pauline Labossiere, Marc Bazin, Mona and Leo Woods, Yvette Hebert, Lorraine and Rene Dousselaere, Andre and Laura Morin, and Rene and Lea Morin; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.
Prior to leaving high school to support her family, Yvette had the highest scholastic marks in the province two years in a row. Raising her family of six kids, supporting her mother, while working full time, she still managed to obtain her High School and Computer certificate at the age of 50. Yvette and Leo successfully ran a family Auctioneering business for many years. There was nothing more precious to them then to open their home to family, friends and those that just wanted to be surrounded by the laughter and to be loved.
A few days before her passing, we celebrated a Virtual Christmas and we asked Mom to share her life lessons - she immediately said - ENJOY LIFE WHILE YOU ARE YOUNG, CAUSE GROWING OLD SUCKS!
We never had the chance to thank the two nurses that saved Yvette at the Dugald Curling Club and who gave us 17 more years with Mom.
A big Thank You to the AMAZING staff at ActionMarguerite St. Vital for their compassion, kindness and continued support.

- Posted by: Roma Falsarella (Cousin) on: Jan 05, 2021

I don’t think I’ll ever meet anyone like Yvette ever again. She was someone so special. I felt safe and comforted in her presence. She might have been a few decades older than me, but she was a great friend and confidant. I enjoyed spending one on one time with her doing her nails/hair, playing dice, watching television, gossiping and looking through the flyers together, talking about good deals. Her sense of humour was amazing and made coming to work that much better. She was my #1 participant in all my activities on the third floor. Always full of sass and sarcasm which made every moment perfect/priceless. I will always remember her and no one can ever replace her. I feel blessed to have met Yvette and got to spend the past three years getting to know her. Your family is in my prayers and I know she’ll always be with us. Xoxo- Carly ♥️ - Posted by: Carly Steidinger (Friend ) on: Jan 02, 2021

Walking in Morins house and seeing a pile of shoes at the door and yes the house was full, but there was always room for more. Spent many years at the cabin in Gull Lake, those memories will always remain. Thank you Yvette for getting George’s a job at Meadowland, when we were desperate. Sending love and light to an amazing woman. Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Cheri and Desiree (Friends) on: Jan 02, 2021
