ROSE SHELL
Rose was predeceased by her husband Eddie, her parents, Charles and Fannie Altman and her sister Claire Jacobson. She is survived by her daughter Marla (Avie) Kaplan, son Alan, grandchildren, Andrew, Emily (Josh), and great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Cody Nozick.
Rose was born on July 21, 1932. She grew up in the North End of Winnipeg and attended Aberdeen School then St John's High. After completing a lab technician course in Toronto she returned to Winnipeg and married Eddie Shell on May 2, 1954. They remained happily married for 63 years.
Rose was a most willing participant at all family dinners and special occasions. She loved being with family, always attending all concerts, festivals and special events. Always a kind word, free of judgement or criticism. Rose had many close friends and her and Eddie had a full social calendar.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Simkin Centre for their amazing care especially during COVID. Special thanks to Shella Bisenio and Elizabeth Caparros for all their loving care.
