I met Mary when my Mum was seated at her table at Concordia Village. Mary had been there for 5 months, and was a pro as to how things worked, and took my Mum under her wing. I got to know her over the years on my visits, and looked forward to our chats and her cookies. Her gentle nature and warm smile were gifts to all she met, and I know, treasured by my Mum. Mary lived next door to my grandmother on Hart Ave for many years, and I would often go on walks with them as a child. I was reintroduced to Mary at Concordia Village, as I worked there from 2011 until April 2020. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing, and offer my condolences to her family and friends.
