ALIX CHOUINARD

With heavy hearts, the family of Alix Chouinard announces he passed away November 28, 2020, after heart surgery at Stollery Children's Hospital Edmonton, AB. He was born born September 4, 2003.
Alix is lovingly remembered by his father, Pierre, his siblings Melina, Lyse, Miguel, Ryanna, and Remy and their mother, Paulette. He was predeceased by his infant brother Jeric, his grandfather Larry Chouinard and by his maternal grandparents.
When Alix was thirteen, he began to have heart trouble, although it became evident the cause had been present since he was very young. His physical heart was weak, but the real Alix had a heart of gold. He enjoyed hockey and baseball and enjoyed army cadets in St. Pierre.
Alix always put others' needs ahead of his own. No matter how he suffered, his compassion for others and his love for family did not wane. He had a gift for encouraging other people, but his biggest passion was to tell people about Jesus.

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."
