RICHARD BRUCE TERENCHUK
March 26, 1947 – December 26, 2020
He was predeceased by his father Wally (1983); brother Patrick (2009) and mom Rose (2012). He leaves to cherish his memory, cousins, Carole (Colin Demianyk), Craig (Joanne) Waskin, Kathi Wear of Winnipeg, and David (Monica) Tyler, BC. Appreciation goes out to cousins, Barry (Merle) Tomyk and Marilyn Dutchuk for their support throughout Richard's life.
He was fortunate to live in a group home in his neighbourhood and enjoyed outings in familiar settings. Richard will be greatly missed by his roommate Brent and all the compassionate, ever-dedicated staff of his S.P.I.K.E. (Supporting Peoples' Independence, Knowledge and Empowerment) "family," as well as his special day-program friends. We appreciate all of you for giving Richard the last eight "best" years of his life!
Cremation has taken place and due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no formal funeral service. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date at Stonewall Cemetery.

Richard was an amazing man to spend time with and work with during the last year and a half I’ve know him. He always put a smile on my face the moment he woke up in the morning. He was always a pleasure to take to the mall or for a stroll at the park with his peers. I have many fond memories of Richard at day program. All the staff are going to miss Richard’s energy and personality. My condolences to his family, I’m sorry for your loss.
