GEORGINA KELLY

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Georgina Kelly (McLachlan) on January 3, 2021, at the age of 82.

  • To Georgina’s family: We will treasure all the memories we made with Alex & Georgina, I will miss my bingo buddy and our many trips we took together. I am certain that we hit every bingo game from Winnipeg to B. C. and south to Arizona. We loved our bingo. See you on the other side my friend. • My deepest sympathy for the loss of Georgie. It doesn't seem that long ago that we moved to Baltimore Rd but it was 1963. Georgie was our neighbor with just Sharon then along came Doug. I remember all the times I baby sat for Georgie. The times every one came to the cottage. The wonderful wedding we all attended when Georgie married Alex, was it really 45 years? The apples from the apple tree in the backyard. She was the best neighbor and good friends with my late mother Toby. I am so sorry for you all, Sharon take care, Doug do you remember the "Easter Pig" incident? Alex you were the best to Georgina. Your kids were so wonderful as well as well. Time passes and we grow older, but good friends are always remembered...Tara - Posted by: Tara MacDonald Martin (neighbour) on: Jan 12, 2021

  • Auntie Georgina was one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever met. I never knew she was a teacher, but it makes perfect sense. Georgina was a great friend to my grandparents, Sheila and Peter Fisher and I have fond memories of driving in a full minivan with them from Vancouver to Winnipeg to visit Georgina and Alex. My heart goes out to your family and everyone else whose lives you have touched. Rest In Peace xo - Posted by: Troy Letendre (Friend of the family) on: Jan 10, 2021
