VERA JEAN INMAN

It is with great sorrow that the family of Vera Jean Inman announce the passing of their mother and grandmother in Winnipeg on December 27, 2020.
Vera was born on November 15, 1924 in Minnedosa, Manitoba and grew up in Winnipeg. In June 1945 she married her high school sweetheart, Charles Douglas Inman.
Vera is survived by her two daughters, Linda (John) and Sandra (Jim); as well as her three grandchildren, Rob, Jennifer, and Christine (Graeme). Vera was predeceased by her husband Doug, her son Robert; her two sisters, Irene and Joyce; and her parents, Dr. Vincent and Rose Onhauser.
Mom was an excellent homemaker who loved cooking, delighting the family with new recipes. She was an avid and creative seamstress, knitter and enjoyed needlepoint.
Mom and Dad loved dancing, playing card games with their children and grandchildren. They enjoyed travelling in their retirement. Mom's favourite was Hawaii but summer was always the cottage at Kenora. On a hot humid night Hawaiian music would be heard floating out the windows of the cottage as Mom and Dad were dancing inside.
In keeping with mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
We would like to thank the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for their excellent care of Vera.
