TERRY FRANKLIN MILES
December 8, 1946 - December 31, 2020

After a lengthy illness and Covid complications Terry passed away on New Years' Eve at the age of 74.
He was predeceased by his father Frank Miles. He is survived by his mother Irene Miles, sisters, Marilyn (Tom) French and Sharon (Ray) Gregg, brother Tom, and many nieces and nephews.
Terry attended high school at T.C.I. in Transcona and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Manitoba in 1977 and enjoyed painting and drawing for many years.
There will be a small private family service on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in Transcona and interment will take place at the Transcona Cemetery.

  • Tommy and Family, Please accepted my sincerest condolences on the passing of your beloved brother, Terry. Upon learning of Terry's passing, I sat back and reminisced of our youth in Transcona. The football games that we enjoyed in your backyard on Regent. The bullet passes Terry threw as quarterback. Terry's first hockey goal as a batam hockey player at Pirates Community Club. I assisted and he never allowed me to forget my pass on that achievement. The Miles' Residence gave the "guys" that lived on the 300 block of Pandora,Melrose and Regent an oulet for fun and friendships. As we aged, l left Transcona and returning for the summer months. At one point, Terry and I were teammates on a fastball team in The Transcona League...early 70s. Yes, Terry left us with many fond memories and hijinks.   • Growing up Terry was a friend of my older brother and he was always so kind and friendly to me and always took time to have a conversation and a laugh when we ran in to each other.
