Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Sending my condolences to John's family. I have many fond memories of the early seventies -- I didn't have my own vehicle to get back and forth to Winnipeg. John never said 'no' when I would phone him on a Sunday morning and ask if I could get a ride back to Winnipeg that evening. He would drop me off at my door and wait for me to get inside. A true friend and always kind - even though at times I may have been like a nuisance little sister. - Posted by: Colleen Olafson (Friend) on: Jan 12, 2021

  • Although life took us far apart physically, when we did have the chance to get together it was as if nothing had changed. We had some great times growing up and some great fishing adventures. A true lifelong friend. - Posted by: Gordon Olafson (Friend) on: Jan 10, 2021

  • Our condolences to Louise & Del and family. John was raised on a farm outside of Riverton by a warm and caring family. After losing his parents and brother James, he resided on the farm homestead. John was such a gentle fellow with many faithful friends. God bless Johnny! - Posted by: Lloyd & Jeannette Roche (Friends & former teacher) on: Jan 09, 2021

  • Rest in peace John. I will always have fondest memories of our many visits to “the farm”. - Posted by: Ed an Jeanne Tropper (Cousin) on: Jan 09, 2021
