Sadly I learned today of Kerry’s passing. It brought back a flood of memories when I was very into R/C planes and the time I spent in their store. Kerry, his Dad and Jim were always friendly and as mentioned by so many were a wealth of knowledge and eager to share. While my visits diminished over time as other interests took hold, I still dropped in from time to time to catch up on things. My heartfelt condolences to his family, he will be missed by so many. - Posted by: Jeff Helps (Friend) on: Feb 25, 2021

I met Kerry as most of us! Wandering into the cool store to go see all the planes and helicopters! It was not long before I was leaving with a cool toy! Many many trips to the store and home built a wicked relationship with my boys Kerry and Jim! Kerry was always a happy guy and great to talk to about anything RC always found time to help me no matter what! I was shocked and upset today to find that he is no longer with us! May Heaven carry you aloft on big wings! My condolences to his family. - Posted by: James Campbell (Customer) on: Feb 23, 2021

Him and his store with his dad and Jim have always been a great place to go. Kerry always said hi and you could easily make small chat. A fountain on info on everything. A great North Ender as well. - Posted by: Pat Rogoski (customer) on: Feb 05, 2021

Shocked and saddened by this news. Fond memories of socializing and playing hockey during our days at River East Collegiate. He was a great hockey player. I recall him coming to the bench and giving me a compliment during a game. Coming from him, I was in awe. Will never forget that moment as it gave me so much encouragement. Like many, we had some great times growing up during those formative high school years. I recall him taking me to "the shop'. Thought it was the coolest place. Our sincere condolences to the family. - Posted by: Brad & Karen Fletcher (Friend) on: Jan 12, 2021

To all of Kerry's family and friends, I offer my heartfelt condolences to you all. To learn of Kerry's passing was extremely sad and shocking. Although Kerry and I did not stay closely connected in recent years, as life sometimes pushes people on different paths, I have very fond memories of our days in high school at River East Collegiate and subsequent years. With some of the capers Kerry, myself, and our close knit group of friends got into during that time, I am not sure how our parents endured. I wouldn't trade those times for anything. This news hurts, but I hope that we can all draw on our good times spent with Kerry to ease the pain we all feel right now. Rest in Peace Kerry. - Posted by: Todd Thompson (Friend) on: Jan 12, 2021

My condolences to everyone who has lost Kerry. I didn't really know him - at least not at a personal level. First met him in circa 1990 when my friends and I would come into the shop to browse RC cars after school. He must have been so tired of answering our daily questions, but Kerry (and Jerry, and Jim) never let it show. Always friendly, always helpful. His good spirit and kind demeanor truly nurtured my love of the hobby. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Take care. - Posted by: Ryan (Customer) on: Jan 11, 2021

I am deeply saddened by the news of Kerry's passing. I met Kerry about 35 years ago when I was just a kid hanging around in the hobby shop. Over the years we became good friends, and he always had time to listen to a story and ask how my folks and sister were doing. Kerry was truly a gem of a person and an advocate for our hobby. He would always take the time to answer any questions people had, offer an encouraging word, or provide some advice. There are no words that can express our loss. My heartfelt condolences to the Family. He will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with you. - Posted by: Blair Milling (Friend ) on: Jan 11, 2021
