It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of out Aunt Joyce Fox.
Joyce passed peacefully at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home.
Joyce is survived by her nieces and nephews, Del Park, Art (Carol) Krantz, Danny (Val) Krantz, Terry (Ines) Highlands, Randy Highlands, Lori (Brent) Brooks, as well as many great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Harry Highlands, Sarah and Harry Chapman; her husband Red Fox; sister Sally and husband Art Krantz; brother Jim and wife Kay Highlands; nieces, Wanda Park and Bonnie Bhur.
Joyce was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. It's where she met and married her husband Red Fox. Not long after they moved to and eventually settled in Ignace, Ontario, where they would spend 40 plus years making a home for themselves. They eventually moved back to Winnipeg in 1989.
Joyce belonged to the Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Ignace where she made many friends. She loved spending her time curling, fishing, cooking, baking and of course blueberry picking. She spent many fun Rummoli nights with the girls. Joyce also took part in darts at the Transcona Legion in her later years.
Among all, we can't forget the love she had for her family, (human, furry and feathered). You were always welcomed for a cup of tea or coffee and her homemade baked goods.
Special thanks to the staff at Bethania for all the loving care you gave Joyce. Thank you to her friend Fran for all the years of friendship.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service per Joyce's request.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to a charity of one's choice.

Goodbye Good Lady.
Rest in Peace
Love you forever.
