JOHN TURESKI
Predeceased by his son David and brother Peter, John is survived by his dearly loved wife Joyce (Wilkins); his children, Lori Tureski, Marlena Tureski Blackman (Ralph), Trevor Tureski, his sister Helen (Smerchanski) and sister-in-law Helen Tureski, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
John was born to Jessie (Lysak) and William Tureski on November 28, 1931 in Rainy River, Ontario. He left home at a young age to apprentice as a diesel mechanic in Winnipeg and enjoyed a long career with Interprovincial Pipeline (now Enbridge). He and Joyce raised their family in Glenboro, Manitoba, Regina, Saskatchewan and Sarnia, Ontario and moved to Guelph in their later years. We are grateful to The Elliott Community staff for their compassionate care of Dad through many difficult months.
There will not be a Celebration of Life at this time, but a small family gathering will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
