June and family! I am sorry to hear of max's passing. Max was a new friend, but he was such a pleasant gentleman that one would have wished to have his friendship forever. I will ask the good lord to hold you in the palm of his hand to make the pain of your loss go away faster. Nestor Krawec from the Ist Wednesday at Gimli. - Posted by: NESTOR KRAWEC (new friend) on: Jan 28, 2021

Max was our teacher at Pebble Beach School in the Interlake of Manitoba. He taught both Ray and I. This was a one room school with students from grade one to eight and possibly one or two students sitting in, who were taking correspondence classes, which would be like our on line classes today but the teacher didn't assist those students taking correspondence. Max lived at our place during the school year and was like one of the family. My brother Gordon and I went to his and June's wedding. June and family We are so sorry to hear of Max’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Thinking back in time, I remember when Max was on business and travelling to Thunder Bay, his brief surprise visits would always bring a smile to uncle Pete, auntie Nellie's face. On New Years Eve Patti and I were sitting around the fire. looking at some old photos, some being of family weddings in Winnipeg. This brought back memories of the happier days. Our Thoughts and prayers are with you, be safe Jerry and Patti Kibzey and family. - Posted by: jerry Kibzey (Cousin) on: Jan 17, 2021

So sorry June and family to hear of Max’s passing. My prayers and thoughts go out to you all. I enjoyed seeing Max and June when I visited my sister June and Ron in Kelowna. And will remember his music and polka skills. Respectfully Gail - Posted by: Gail Kotowich (June Hanushchak’s sister from Selkirk/ Sandy Hook now) on: Jan 16, 2021
