BERNADINE IVY BURGESS
May 23, 1957 - January 6, 2021

After a brief struggle with cancer, Bernadine passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, BC, at the age of 63.
Predeceased by her father Robert Burgess, she leaves behind her mother Eloriana Swan, her son Dustin Shaver; her sisters, Linda Ruppel (Larry), Alexandra Burgess, Brahmina Burgess; her nieces, nephews, her Aunt Joan Matheos, and cousins.
Bernadine will be remembered for her spiritual, artistic nature, her thirst for knowledge and learning, her charity and concern for the environment and endangered animals, and her beautiful singing voice.
The family would like to thank Lynn Keller for her kind assistance and for her selfless care of Bernadine during her illness.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to: WCI Canada Foundation in support of their efforts in the preservation of orangutans.
