It is with great sadness that the family of Miriam (Marie) Peretz announces her passing, on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
Most beloved wife of Sami for sixty-years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Iris and John, David and Lindsay, and Daniel. Cherished grandmother of Kathleen, Jessica, and Shoshana. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Claire and the late Salah, Malka and Moshe, Rivka and George, Ruth and John; and sister-in-law of Reina and the late Vitali, Levana and the late Leon, Shoshana and the late Shabtai, the late Moshe and the late Mazal, the late Meir, the late Rachel and the late Itzhak. Daughter of the late Eliyahou and Fortuna Mizrahi.
Born in Egypt, raised in Israel, Miriam settled in Montreal with her husband in 1975, quickly becoming cherished in her community as an attentive and warm-hearted childcare provider. Miriam loved her family, Israel, and the beach. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
A private graveside service was held on January 14, 2021.
