We are sad to hear that Shirley passed away. We only met her once. She drove onto our farm along with Norman & her husband. This was 1 week before Father’s Day in 2020. The visit was cheerful & full of memories. Norman, was born on our property. He proceeded to tell us how dad planted a huge Spruce by the Hwy, approximately 100 years ago. There was a log home on the Northwest corner before dad built a new home in 1926. We showed them a photo of that home that Norman’s sister, Margaret, gave to us when she visited us many years ago. There were raspberry bushes all around in front of the 608 sq. ft. home. We we’re happy to have met Shirley, her husband & father, Norman that day. They never did return on Father’s Day like planned the next week. Shirley was hoping to find any photo of the property & I was going to make a copy of the 2nd home Norman lived in. May God be with her. Ramona & Les Fay - Posted by: Ramona & Les Fay (Friend) on: Feb 07, 2021
