LYNNE RAE TODERIAN
(nee PORTER)
September 11, 1947 - January 13, 2021
Predeceased by her devoted husband, Patrick, father, Bobbie, and mother, Anne, Lynne leaves behind her children, Dalene (Rock), Craig and Travis (Vanessa, Zack and Abby). Also left to cherish her memory is her sister, Faye, Aunt Hazel, and numerous nephews, nieces, in-laws and cousins.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Lynne married Patrick on June 10, 1975. Together they raised their three children in the same home for the next 42 years. Lynne retired from Kent Road Elementary School in 2008 after 25 years. During that time, she met lifelong friends who up until her passing were very dear to her heart. Lynne had a vivacious personality and treasured and embraced every moment spent travelling. Her train trips and Manitoba and U.S. vacations with family and friends were memorable and she would often reminisce about. A special thank you to Lee Wiebe for her years of friendship and support, especially over the last few years.
As per Lynne's wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
In Mom's words, "I did my best, now I'm
with the best". RIP Mama T.

Ken and I knew Lynne since 1970 when we lived in St. James, she was our neighbour and babysitter for our two children from 1971 to 1975 until she moved to Elmwood. Lynne was a very kind hearted and friendly person, she embraced everyone and every ethnicity. We can still remember all the get togethers on Christmas Eve and I enjoyed all the long phone calls we had. Rest In Peace Lynne until we meet again. To Dalene and Rocky, Craig and Travis and family our deepest condolences to you all - Posted by: Vee and Ken (Family Friend ) on: Jan 31, 2021

Dear Toderian Family: Please accept my sincere condolences and sympathy in the passing of Lynne. I worked with Lynne at the Winnipeg Free Press in 1965. The Free Press building was on Carlton Street in 1965. I have fond memories of Lynne, and of the good times we had working in the Classified department. Lynne had a great sense of humour, and always kept her co-workers laughing. I know she will be missed. Stay strong for one another, and always keep Lynne in you hearts. Marilyn...former co-worker. - Posted by: Marilyn Corbitt (Winnipeg Free Press co-worker.) on: Jan 22, 2021

My thoughts and prayers go out to Lynne's family at this very sad time. I first met Lynne at Kent Road School where we both worked as Educational Assistants. We became great friends over the years and I will miss her zany sense of humour and her big heart. I was honoured to call her my friend. You can rest now Lynne. You will be missed. - Posted by: Joanne Brisson (Friend and co-worker) on: Jan 19, 2021
