Shaughna ( and your Dad and Geoff), I am so sorry to hear your Mom passed away. I remember your Mom as a warm and loving person, with a great sense of humour. I was always welcomed at your parent's house. I knew I could always go to them if I needed anything. I loved your Mom's laugh and smile. That was the first thing I thought of when I heard she had passed away. I remember sharing lots of laughs with your whole family. I remember your crazy cat Pal ( was that his name?). I hope you, your Dad and Geoff can find comfort in all the happy memories of your Mom. My parents and Ainslie send their condolences too. Love you and miss you Shaughna. - Posted by: Melodee Ceicko (Hinds) (Friend of daughter ( Jr. high,, High school, etc.)) on: Feb 03, 2021

I was just remembering Mom's Christmas packages. She would toss in the craziest stuff.... like plastic clips to keep socks together in the wash or a device for pressing hard boiled eggs square (so they fit better on sandwiches) To make sure it was safe she would use no less than an entire roll of tape on every item.... and the boxes would be taped up excessively as well. She was a mighty packer.... xo - Posted by: Shaughna (Daughter) on: Feb 01, 2021

What I remember most about Aunt Carole is her sense of humour. She always seemed to have a witty remark and a humorous outlook. I didn’t see her often but whenever I did, I really enjoyed her company. I know she will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Wilma Schroeder (Niece) on: Jan 30, 2021
