Losing a good friend is hard but especially so when it is so soon after losing Judy’s sister Gail. I would listen to their stories and admire how close they were and how much they enjoyed each other’s company. There is a huge void left by their passing. - Posted by: Linda Howell (Friend) on: Jan 30, 2021

My dear friend and classmate, Judy Buchanan, was a sensational but private individual, that I will remember and admire forever. Judy was very, very intelligent but absolutely never flaunted her great intelligence! Previously she had completed Grade 12 at Kelvin High School. She was always "just one of gang'" of students that endlessly drank coffee at "Tony's" in the original cafeteria at what is now known as "The University of Winnipeg". Judy and I also had part time jobs on week-ends working for the T. Eaton company in their eighth floor offices. My memories are only of many good times in her company. My deepest sympathies and condolences to her family. Your loss is indeed great! Judy (Cooper) Rannard. - Posted by: Judy Rannard (Nee Cooper) (Friend from United College in 1958) on: Jan 26, 2021
