SHEILA PADDON
She is predeceased by her parents, Gladys and Ivan Fleming; stepfather Wilmot Kirk; twin sister Shirley Murray; brother Wayne Fleming; sister Wilma Bell; brother-in-law Arnold Gray.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Michael; son Neal (Mary); daughters, Julia (Rod), Lisa (Matthew); grandchildren, Graham, Cole, Jarrod, Grayson, Sydney, Tyler and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Addison and Melody; sisters, Norah Gray, Francine Goodheart (Dave); sister-in-law Lorae Fleming; brothers-in-law, Evan Bell, Derek Murray. She also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews and friends.
Sheila graduated from Misericordia Hospital with her RN in 1957. She went on to receive her British State Certificate in Midwifery, in Chester City, England, in 1968. Upon returning to Winnipeg, she worked at St. Boniface Hospital in Labor and Delivery, and became Head Nurse. She loved all babies!
Sheila loved to dance, and was very good at it. She also enjoyed travel, most especially cruising. The Caribbean was her favourite.
The family wishes to thank Dr. P. Mehta for his compassion and wisdom. Our family would like to acknowledge home care and St. Boniface Hospital for their compassion and care for Sheila. To the staff and residents at the Canoe Club, thank you for your kindness.
Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid-19, there will be no formal service.
