ROSE HAMILTON
March 3, 1928 – January 30, 2021

Peacefully, surrounded by the love of family near and far, Rose returned to the loving embrace of her husband Edward and son Bob on January 30, 2021. Her sharp wit, quick jokes and warm hugs left an indelible mark on anyone fortunate enough to have known her during her 92 years. She was light, love and laughter.
Her memory will be treasured in the hearts of her children, Pat, Marianne, Gary, Kathy and Kevin, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mom, Baba, Big Baba - Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end. Goodbyes simply mean you'll be missed until we meet again.
Interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.

  • Mom: you may not be able to read this but you can hear this in my thoughts as I write this to you. I was only a daughter in law not a son or daughter and I told you this when I last seen you a year ago but want to say it again because of what you meant to me and your son Gary. We only got to see each other in once in awhile because we live in Saskatoon but you meant so much to me. Your love for us always showed with your beautiful warm smile and your meaningful hugs you gave me. Your genuine hugs and love for me was much appreciated even the jokes we played on each other before I quit smoking that I would fall off the balcony if I didn’t quit. It was very funny when we were visiting and told you I had quit and the smirky smile you have me that I did something great. I loved you so much and will always will as you treated me with kindness and never made feel that I did not belong in the family. I will miss you in body but I will always have you in heart. You taught me some great things. Thank you mom ❤️ - Posted by: Colleen Hamilton (Daughter in law ) on: Feb 08, 2021
