• Mom: you may not be able to read this but you can hear this in my thoughts as I write this to you. I was only a daughter in law not a son or daughter and I told you this when I last seen you a year ago but want to say it again because of what you meant to me and your son Gary. We only got to see each other in once in awhile because we live in Saskatoon but you meant so much to me. Your love for us always showed with your beautiful warm smile and your meaningful hugs you gave me. Your genuine hugs and love for me was much appreciated even the jokes we played on each other before I quit smoking that I would fall off the balcony if I didn’t quit. It was very funny when we were visiting and told you I had quit and the smirky smile you have me that I did something great. I loved you so much and will always will as you treated me with kindness and never made feel that I did not belong in the family. I will miss you in body but I will always have you in heart.
