DONNA BARBARA WORDEN
(GREEN)
Donna will be greatly missed by her husband of 54 years, Dave Green; and children, Brent (Jona) Green and Kristin (David) Hreno. Donna cherished every moment with her four grandchildren, Tomas, Kjerstin, Madison and Carter. The hours playing babies, farm, baking and colouring has created many heartfelt memories of their Zan, and she will be forever missed. Also mourning her loss, are Donna's sisters, Shirley Moore and Patsy Dunlop of Ontario, and numerous extended family and friends.
Born in Winnipeg, Donna was raised with her siblings in St. James and the West End. In 1967, Donna and Dave married and soon after moved to Woodlands, MB where they raised their children, and made many lasting friendships.
In 2001 Donna and Dave relocated to Woodhaven in Winnipeg to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
After being diagnosed with Dementia, Donna's final years were spent at West Park Manor in Charleswood. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the staff and care providers, especially those on units two-south, and two-east. Being there for her when we couldn't gave us comfort over the years.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, or CancerCare Manitoba.
Due to current Public Health restrictions, the family will be celebrating Donna's life at a later date.
Weep Not for Me
Weep not for me though I have gone,
into that gentle night
Grieve if you will, but not for long,
upon my soul's sweet flight
I am at peace, my soul's at rest,
there is no need for tears
For with your love I was so blessed
for all those many years
There is no pain, I suffer not,
the fear is now all gone
Put now these things out of your thoughts,
in your memory I live on
Remember not my fight for breath, remember not the strife
Please do not dwell upon my death,
but celebrate my life.

Donna and I spent our last three years of grade school at Woodhaven School together. Then we seemed to lose touch as I went on to St Charles Academy. But I never forgot her and how well we got along in Grade School. She was a wonderful friend to me. I will always remember her fondly. My condolences to family. - Posted by: Cheryl Look.
