MARGUERITE DESAUTELS
(née JOHNSON)

Marguerite was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by her beloved husband Ernest Desautels of 64 years; her children, Marcel (Debra), Annette (Rod), Alfred (Thérèse),
Ronald (Paulette), André (Michelle) and her three grandchildren, Kayla, Cody (Jill), and Dylan.
Marguerite was survived by her brother Guillaume Johnson, sister Georgette
Ste-Marie., and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. She was predeceased by her three sisters and four brothers.
Mom was happiest when surrounded by
family and friends. In her early years, that meant touring the nation from one campsite to another. Later on in life, it meant playing cards until 2:00 a.m., or taking a family trip to the casino. Her competitive nature made her the most worthy and enjoyable of card
partners. She was always sad to see her guests leave after a night of cards and
laughter, and now it is our turn to say goodbye with heavy hearts.
A sincere thank you to the staff at Villa Youville (nursing) of Ste. Anne, Manitoba who made mom's journey as comfortable and peaceful as possible. Thanks to home care who provided care for mom and respite for dad. Also, we offer our thanks to the doctors and staff at Centre Medical Seine.

sacrements.
