EARL THEODORE KLATT
July 24, 1933 February 5, 2021
Earl was predeceased by his parents, Adolf and Audrey, siblings, Melford, David, Ralph and Chrissy, and his daughter Lynette. He leaves behind his sisters, Lorraine and Dorothy, brothers, Lenny and William (Karen) and his children, Verlin (Dianna), Norine and Charlotte, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grand-children. He was looking forward to meeting another fifth generation grandchild in May. He also leaves to mourn many nephews, nieces, and many, many friends.
Earl was a proud Metis man who was loved by everyone who crossed his path. He was a natural entertainer, successful trapper and commercial fisherman, and drove everything from a semi-truck to a limousine. He loved gathering with family and friends. Music, bocce, and dancing is what he loved to do most. Homemade wine was another passion of his, as he enjoyed making many different kinds. A party wasn't a party without a bottle of Earl's homemade wine.
Due to COVID restrictions a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Earl, rest in peace chum, we will always remember you as the man, the myth, the legend, until we meet again, we don't say goodbye, we say so long.
Condolences may be left on his tribute wall at www.gilbartfuneralhome.com
