CONSUELO ALBERTO MENDOZA
November 4, 1941 - February 6, 2021
Amado and Consuelo immigrated to Canada with their six children in 1977, in hopes of creating better opportunities for their family. While being a devoted mother and wife, Consuelo worked as an accountant at Fort Ignition, loved spending time caring for her eight grandchildren, and gave a life of service to numerous church and community organizations. Consuelo enjoyed travelling around the world, singing, dancing, being a gracious hostess, and playing mahjong and cards with her sisters.
The family would like to thank all the doctors, CancerCare Manitoba, as well as all the health care providers, home care workers, palliative team, Riverview Palliative Centre and Grace Hospice, who treated our mom like family.
Due to COVID restrictions, all prayers, viewing, funeral and entombment attendance will be by private invitation only. Livestreaming from Mosaic Funeral Services, on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m., https:// event.forgetmenotceremonies.com/.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. and will be livestreamed from St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, https://www.Facebook.com/Live streamSPRCC/.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Consuelo's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, or Grace Hospice.
