LORI LYNN BOZYK
Lori was born to the late Shirley and Victor Bozyk, August 11, 1963, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Lori graduated from River East Collegiate in 1981. She married Rock Fontaine in 1986, and they lived together near Winnipeg for 23 years. During said time, they adopted their two beloved children. Although, they eventually separated, they remained good friends.
Lori is survived by two children, Mercedes (Jaden Johnson), and Noel. She leaves behind three siblings to cherish her memory, Rick Bozyk (Brenda), Kimberly Buus (John), and Michael Bozyk (Jonell). In addition, she will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends.
Lori was passionate about Jesus. She attended, and served at, Springs Church alongside various family and friends, from her youth onwards. She was an exceptionally hard worker with a peaceful and selfless demeanor. Lori was very proud of her children, and could often be found talking about or spending time with them.
An online ceremony will be available to view Sunday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m. via Youtube (search for Lori Bozyk Celebration of Life). At her request, cremation will follow, with a private family interment, at a later date.

I think Lori was in my home room class, the teacher taught history, can't remember his name. I dropped off river east in grade 12, great memories of River East Collegiate. Were all getting up there in age, and its sad when you hear of someone passing, that you shared time with. - Posted by: richard kowerchuk (school mate) on: Feb 11, 2021
