For the past 24 years you have been remembered as a loving father and grandfather with stories still shared. Fond memories and meetings that never happened. I was born three weeks after you passed away and the story, I'm told, is how you wished you could have met me. I have written this on behalf of your youngest daughter, Kimberly Ann Nguyen, who, since that passing, hasn't gone a day without mentioning or thinking about you. Since your passing she gave birth to five more boys, all of us growing up never meeting you but knowing and looking up to the type of man you were. All the little moments you weren't here for, the times I missed out on saying hello or goodbye, yet you are my grandest and most cherished inspiration. You are held in the hearts of your children and grandchildren and, through us, through them, your story continues. Norman was born February 2, 1918, and left this world February 12, 1997, but continues to live through our words and actions.
We love and miss you.
