November 17, 1928 - February 4, 2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Yolanda on February 4, 2021 at 92 years of age.
Yolanda was predeceased by her husband Robert Sr.; siblings, Daria Rossi, Irma Blaszkiewicz and Mario Cheriach. She is survived by her children, Bobby (Deborah), Gregory (Sharon), Deborah (Brent) and Ellery; her sister-in-law Anna Susanj Cheriach, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Mom enjoyed travelling throughout her life. After retirement from 16 years in the field of healthcare, she was pleased to extend the amount of time she could spend on adventures to the United States, Europe, the Caribbean, and Mexico.

You are in heaven with God but forever
with loving memories in our hearts.

  • I went to high school with Debbie and would like to offer my condolences to the family on the death of your mother. I lost both my brother and my Dad in the last few months so can relate to how difficult a loss like this is. Take time to grieve. - Posted by: Brenda Checkley (High School Friend of Debbie) on: Feb 16, 2021

  • Bobby and family, please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your dear mother. - Posted by: Raymond Kindrat (coworker) on: Feb 16, 2021

  • We are very sorry to hear of Yolanda's passing. She was a long time friend of my parents, Helen and Alex Puttaert. She was a very caring and thoughtful lady. My parents always enjoyed their visits with her. - Posted by: Gord and Linda Puttaert (friend) on: Feb 14, 2021

  • Yolanda was a member of the Lions Place Adult Day Club, and we treasured her friendship, love, and great sense of humour! I was also able to enjoy her company in a few music programs I facilitated within the personal care home of Lions Housing Centres. This world has lost a bright and enthusiastic light! We will miss her. - Posted by: Christine (Friend) on: Feb 13, 2021
