(nee ST. GERMAIN)
January 26, 1940 - February 6, 2021
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Roger; her children, Suzanne (Roger Gosselin), Leo (Marnie), and Ruggy (Katy Rondeau). She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Christine Dubois (Joe Loyer), Danielle Dubois (Sean Clara), Chantal Maynard (Ray), Breanna Lambert, Brittany Lambert, and Lauren Lambert; her great-grandchildren, Delilah and Shaelynn Woudstra, Jerika Clara, Sophie and Theo Maynard, Jude, Jacob, and Johnny Dufault, and Blake McSorley.
Mom and Dad met in 1959 when she was hairdressing. They courted for a year and married on June 25, 1960.
Following the birth of their first child Suzanne - the smart one (so she says), Mom returned to the hairdressing world as an Instructor. A couple years later, Leo - the good looking one (so he thinks) was born and life got a little busier. Then finally, Ruggy - the favourite (so we all say) came along and their family was complete.
Dad travelled out of town for work, so Mom held down the fort and took care of us kids. Eventually Mom and Dad built a cabin in St. Malo and spent many weekends sitting on the deck with a cold one. There was always spirited debate on which cold one was the best. She was a Club diehard.
Mom enjoyed pottery, word searches, collecting coins, and sitting outside to watch the traffic go by. Some of her favourite times were when the grandkids would come over and she got to spoil them with treats.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
The family wishes to thank the Paramedics, the ICU and Palliative Care Departments at the Health Sciences Centre for the wonderful care they gave Mom in her final days.
Following Mom's wishes, a private family service will be held, with cremation to follow. An interment will reside later this summer.

Roger, Suzanne, Leo and Ruggy and families. On behalf of my family, let me extend our sincere condolences to all of you. Throughout the years our families spent much time together, school, sports and socializing. Often think of you all still, driving past your house on Imperial. Okay as you say Ruggy was our favourite too. Prayers be with you all at this time.
